Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF
Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF, the wildly popular kids’ TV series, continues to wrestle its way through Latin America, announcing today that it has picked up a new team of broadcasters. TWF will be hitting the airwaves on Cadena Tres in Mexico, RedeTV! in Brazil, Telemundo in Puerto Rico, América TV in Peru, Televisora Hondurena in Honduras, Red Uno in Bolivia, and Ecuavisa in Ecuador. TWF has already found success in Latin America on Cartoon Network, where it will continue to air. Thumb Wrestling Federation is produced by New York based Animation Collective and distributed in Latin America by Televix Entertainment. With four seasons completed and a fifth season currently in production, TWF has quickly become a global brand, airing on Cartoon Network in the US, BBC in the UK, and YTV in Canada. “Over the four seasons of Thumb Wrestling Federation that are currently airing, we've seen that the more kids are exposed to the property, the greater their demand for it is,” said Larry Schwarz, CEO of Animation Collective and creator of TWF. “These additional broadcast partners will enable us to connect to more fans across Latin America.” The series also airs on Cartoon Network feeds throughout Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. TWF consumer products, ranging from toys to tshirts and socks to sticker albums, are already available in multiple territories, and will be making their way to Latin America this year.
