Speed Racer: The Next Generation is an action-adventure comedy series that promises to bring high-octane thrills to a new generation of Speed Racer fans by building on the iconic anime classic. Speed, is an orphan and a "newbie", at the world famous Racing Academy, run by Headmaster Spritle. This school is where the most talented race car drivers and crew members alike learn what it takes to be the best. They will learn on the one of a kind Virtual Track, a computer generated program that can mimic any environment no matter how extreme or strange. The Virtual Track may not be "real", but the danger definitely is! Speed will have to adjust to the ordeals of school life, driving fast cars and winning. His first challenge, competing against none other than the son of Speed Racer and the best driver at the Racing Academy, X. With help from his friends, Lucy, Conor and Chim Chim, Speed starts to unlock the secrets and potential of the newly found Mach 6, a car that the original Speed Racer invented before he went missing. Speed and his friends discover that there are more dangers that await them and many who want to destroy the Speed Racer legacy once and for all...
